There are several mods which do this, does it really need to be in Kerbalism as well? Just asking for mod conflicts IMHO.

Have you tested this patch for conflict with: Stock Fuel Switch Interstellar Fuel Switch Cryotanks and others I may have forgotten?
This patch provides similar functionality to the first two so it would probably conflict, but the reason I created this in the first place is to replace them by something that is more aligned with Kerbalism and how it does switching for supply resources.
Regarding cryotanks provided they use the stock RESOURCE node there shouldn't be any conflict but I haven't tested. The patch simply removes the original nodes and let's Kerbalism handle re-creating them as needed.
The patch is disabled by default, it's an extra for people that are interested in it. The biggest limitations is that it only supports stock fuels and fuel mixes (it wouldn't cause any problems of tanks exist with other fuels, but wouldn't provide a switching mechanism).
Allows fuel tanks to be switched between liquid fuel and liquid fuel and oxidizer. Disabled by default.
