Failed to synchronize data registry on server #12

After installing this mod both on my modded forge server and my client (everything already tested to work normally), I suddenly get failed to sync registry data because of MCDJ. There are no music files added on either client or server side yet. I also then tried adding the .ogg file I wanted to both the server and client in the correct folder (.mcdj....streaming...) and it still came up with that error. When I delete the mod and both the .mcdj and .mixin.out folders, I can connect normally.

With version of Forge you use? Basically this problem may cause when server can't find music disc on client, and should never appear when playlist on server is empty. Also can you provide crash logs?

My brother kept on having this problem. He installed Audacity as I guessed it might've been a codec issue. It worked afterwards.

Update: Solved the problem

He kept having sporadic issues, being able to connect sometimes but mostly not. I ended up checking the logs and noticing that adding MCDJ caused the mod Water Bucket to register it's buckets to XercaMusic and ended causing a problem since it did not find these items in XercaMusic.

I know this is really strange, it only happened on his side and my other brother and I could play fine. I guess it has something to do with load order or something. I can't tell if it was the OP's problem but now that I removed Water Buckets mod he can play fine.

I just had the same issue as @GnatNguyen. I ended up getting into the server. I was able to play the music disk I made... but the weird part is.. all my biomes were jacked up. I had a Shadow forest in my town.... hahaha so I deleted the files and mod from my server and tried again and luckily everything went back to normal. Forge: 1.16.5 version 36.1.0 log I do have: latest.log
