Hello @talismanbrandi, Thank you for letting me know! I have updated the code accordingly. The code calculates the intron length as one less than previously computed, ensuring that both the start and end coordinates on the exon are correctly considered. Could you please review it and let me know the feedback!
Subject: Re: Introns Length Correction
Dear Mr. Ayan Paul,
Thank you for your quick response and for addressing the issue with the intron length in the scripts on the GitHub repository. I appreciate your prompt attention to this matter.
Your clarification regarding the intron length calculation is duly noted. I understand that both the start and end coordinates are on the exon, resulting in an intron length that is one base less than previously computed. This correction will ensure the accuracy of the analysis.
I have made the required changes and have re-uploaded the updated scripts on the repository.
Thank you so much once again. Could you please review the scripts again and let me know the feedback.
Best regards, Shreyas Dasari

@ShreyasDasarihttps://github.com/ShreyasDasari the length of the introns is incorrect. Please note that both the start and the end coordinates are on the exon. So the intron length is one less that what you computed. Please fix it. Thanks.
