The main currency of the game is Soul Power, which is gained every time Lil' Necromancer kills a unit. This can be done automatically through upgrades, or manually, if the player clicks an approaching creature.
Harvesting a creature's soul after killing them produces Soul Power equivalent to the power that creature represented (i.e. a Dragon would be worth more than an Angry Peasant). The amount of Soul Power extracted can -- of course -- be upgraded later.
