What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Choose a venue during a database problem
2. see if it says "null" in the gray bar at the top
3. try to checkin there
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
"failed to checkin at null..." or a message like that
instead, perhaps while clicking on the venue, say "There seems to be a
problem with the database, please try m.foursquare.com or try again later"
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Android, the one before 2009-09-09
Please provide any additional information below.
Saw a bunch of mail on the list about this, too. Obviously there was some
problems with redirects, but I'm thinking if null comes back for the venue
name, you already know there's a problem.
