to take
advantage of that sweet zen coding :P

I while after posting this I realized that Notepad++ is based off Scintilla and
so is
SciTE so I would hope that the integration would be similar. I'd love to
contribute
in whatever way I could, unfortunately coding a plugin would not be one of
them. I'd
be willing to test or even donate.

About NP++ support: this editor doesn't have any simple API for extending via
scripts. I need a help of C++
programmer who can write a layer that will communicate between NP++ and WSH to
make ZC's javascript
version work.
As for SciTE, it has a Lua support, so creating a plugin for this editor might
be easier.

Have anyone tried getting zencode to work through the NppJavaScript plugin?:

I was doing some reading and have a suggestion that might make porting zen-code
to
Notepad++ easier. There was a suggestion of using NPPExec to execute scrips.
Here
is a reference:

Just a thought.

wallkahn, that is not relevant. Sublime Editor might be good for you, but those
of us
following this bug like Notepad++ and do not want to use a closed-source, paid
app.

Sublime can be used for free, I do. You just occasionally get a message seeing
if you
want to buy. I use both Notepad++ and Sublime for different things, and hope
Notepad++ gets support for when I'm stuck on Windows at work.

I tried Sublime, but... 1, Zen support is not 100%, and not really easy to use.
2, In
general, I found Notepad++ more useful. Somehow worked out better for me.
Voting for
N++ support.
