Wifi wont restart epic 4g #1375

Which device (manufacturer, type)?
Samsung Sprint Epic 4G

Which firmware is installed?
2.3.5

What version of wireless tether are you using?
beta11

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.start app, works fine
2.stop tethering, stops, disable 4g.
3.normal wifi will not restart, must reboot phone

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
After stopping tethering and disabling 4g, wifi should be able to work.

Please provide any additional information below.
This is a stock rooted EI22 rom.

Same issue on rooted Samsung Continuum running EC03.

I am having the same issue on my stock rooted epic 4g froyo build. I really 
hope this can be fixed. I would move this to critical as it is a major pain to 
have to restart eh phone to get this working again.
