Samsung Nexus 4g not routing in Hotspot mode "netd"

What version of wireless tether are you using? 3.1-Beta11

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Launch Wifi Tether change setting to Galaxy S, Change Setup Method to Netd, 
reinstall binaries.
2. Enable hotspot, turns wifi on but will not route.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
output is device appears like a Hotspot not adhoc, and allows you to route, 
shows up as hotspot no route, data on phone turns off.

Please provide any additional information below.
When using as adhoc it works.

It is a bit finicky but mine will work.  Sometimes rebooting the entire phone 
is the only way it will work.  Try these steps: If you want it to use 4g turn 
it on then reboot phone.  The phone should restart with 4g on.  Launch Wifi 
Tether and start tethering.  You will notice the blue hotspot indicator pop up 
in the top notification bar.  Wait a minute our two to see it it goes away.  If 
it does not go away reboot and try again.  If it does go away see if your 4g 
signal activates then you should be good to go.  If you don't see any white or 
green signal bars for 4g then try turning 4g off then on again.  If it that 
does not work reboot and start over.  Sometimes it works first try for me but 
sometimes it does not.  Sometimes it looks like 3g and 4g is battling up on the 
notifaction bar and nothing will lock on.  Also sometimes if I receive a 
message or call even while tethering 4g the tether will drop and I have to 
reboot.  If you can get it to work you will most likely have to reboot after 
you are done as sometimes it will render your phone useless to data and phone 
capabilities.  Good luck!

This isnt while trying 4g, this is while trying 3g, from what im seeing the
program is attempting to launch the hotspot app on the phone which require
carrier authorization thats why it is getting shut down.

The above scenario seems to work for 3g as well.  For me, sometimes even though 
the blue hotspot icon is there 3g works sometimes but never 4g.  If neither 
work I have to do the reboot and try again.  4g will never work if the blue 
hotspot icon is up.  Just an fyi.  Have you tried waiting a few minutes longer?

WiFi Tether for Root Users 3.2-pre1
device profile=>Google NexusOne
setup-method=>Netd
on channel one, checked wifi-driver reload

Thanks Thomas.  These settings work great.  Are you noticing a low speed 
compared to what your phone tests at?
