Here is a fun one...

Which device (manufacturer, type)?
HTC Incredible 4g

Which firmware is installed?
Rooted Stock Android 4.0.4 / Sense 4.1

What version of wireless tether are you using?
reproduced on 2.0.7, 2.0.8, 3.3 b2

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Start Tethering
2. Attempt to view network from Windows connections on desktop.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Should see network but do not.

Please provide any additional information below.
Can connect my laptop (Win 7 x64) to the tether with no problem, but
AndroidTether never appears in networks list on desktop (Win 7 x64). Both
computers are within 3 ft of phone. If I start the same app on my old phone:
HTC Incredible 1 - AOSP-based MIUI - wifi-tether v 2.0.7, with identical
settings in app, both computers can see and connect.

Laptop has dell mini wifi draft N card, desktop has Netgear wna1000m mini usb
adapter plugged into front of the case so that there is no signal disruption.

Will try other adapters in the desktop tomorrow to see if this one just doesnt
like the broadcast coming from the dinc 4g.
