What version of wireless tether are you using?

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Turn off WiFi
2.Open & Start Tether
3.Starts but has errors and says to check error log (error log does not exist)
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expect symbol to turn yellow and work, it turns yellow but says started with
errors
Please provide any additional information below.
I had this working just fine until I had to get a replacement phone, it came
setup with 4.4.2 and now, no matter what combination of settings, it loads with
errors and says to check error log but it does not exist.
I have noticed that right as the tether begins to activate, the wifi turns
itself back on.
