1. Menu > Setup
2. Check: "Use Bluetooth"
3. Press Back
4. Tap "Press to start tethering" Icon

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected: Bluetooth tethering started and detectable by laptop
Actual: Force Close of process "android.tether"

No Log left.

Please provide any additional information below.

If you start the Wifi tether first, then go to setup and check "Use Bluetooth".
Tethering will restart and appear to work, however the computer will say the

I cannot edit my own defect, so another piece of information:

After tethering to WiFi then switching to Bluetooth, if you attempt to turn
stop tethering you will get another Force Close.

I have tried this with Bluetooth on and off when running the app. I have also
attempted it with USB Debugging on and off. And with Discoverable on and off.

I am another user that cannot connect to ad-hoc networks due to work
restrictions and would like to be able to tether with Bluetooth as an
alternative since it appears AP is out of scope.
