Which device (manufacturer, type)?
HTC EVO 4G
Which firmware is installed?
Android 2.2 Froyo
What version of wireless tether are you using?
2.0.5-pre9
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.turn on wifi tether with 4g on while talking on bluetooth headset
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
4g data tether and bluetooth voice use should not conflict
Please provide any additional information below.

The wifi tether app does not allow the bluetooth to work for calls nor does it
allow headset to link if not on a call with 4g on. Only when I turn off the
wifi app bluetooth can reconnect with phone.

I upgraded to pre11 however now that bluetooth works while tether is on the
tether itself will not connect to the internet (with 4G on) despite being
linked/tethered to my pc. It even stops the internet via my phone also.

I'm having similar troubles; Droid charge, 3.1-beta6 wifi tether. Mine works
with a Bluetooth headset, but it's intermittent. Every now and then a message
pops up saying that wifi tether was granted root permissions, and when that
happens, it turns off bluetooth on my phone, which of course disconnects my
headset. If I start the app and I have my headset connected, it will turn the
phones bluetooth off as well.

There is a new option called "don't disable bluetooth" in app-settings of the
latest experimental version - available here:
http://android-wifi-tether.googlecode.com/files/wifi_tether_v3_1-pre102.apk

You need to check that ... other bluetooth is shut down on startup
(default-behavior).
