Request: Captive Portal Option

Option to create a captive portal type login page.  Optionally allow page to be 
stored on SD card for easy editing of the message displayed.  Require users of 
wifi to agree or enter some password to allow use of wifi.

Please add a captive portal to this app that we can edit locally on our phone 
or at least a way to redirect traffic to a particular website or domain.  That 
would be cool... :)

+1 for this feature!  

Real world example occurred just now, leading me to google for this (and also 
look for blurrynet, catnet, or upsidedownnet ... ) 

I'm in a restaurant working, tethered to wifi, and phone vibes twice quickly, 
which I'm 90% sure is the tether.. it is.  A strange client has connected.  
nmap on all network ports reveals nothing.  I'd like to be a good neighbor and 
share my internets, but I can't have people downloading huge amounts of data or 
doing naughty things from my connection.  A captive portal would be great, and 
also options to throttle "guest" users, or for chat between connected users.

I just came across android-wifi-tether today and as soon as I installed it I 
started digging in the settings looking (hopefully) for captive portal 
capabilities. I am happy to have found this app, although I fully endorse the 
notion of. Captive portals!

I too want to redirect people to my website when they connect to my Wi-Fi.  Not 
for authentication, just a welcome.
