Let's decide on which framework we want to use. Take a look at the spotify web API documentation. Most of their examples are using JavaScript. Otherwise, i'd like to use Django because it seems more fun in my opinion.

I mean based off of what I've been looking up, Node.js is the more popular framework for constructing API's. But at the same time I feel like learning either wouldn't hurt. If we want to take the route that would ease the construction of the application it would make sense to use Node.
