During testing for #1138, I added a Handshape Paradigm relation to a gloss via CSV import. After making the changes, I imported the same csv file again to confirm it had done the changes and did not find new changes. However, the gloss in question has a second relation now that it got transitively. So importing the same file it now wants to "remove" that other relation, since the original file only had one relation. To confirm what is going on, I exported all the tstMH glosses to csv again. And the gloss in question does have two relations.
(So I need to know whether this is transitive and symmetrical.)
(Please realise that the dataset tstMH has mostly nonsense glosses, so this example, this question may not be realistic.)
(Probably the user is not going to try importing the same csv again. But you never know.)
Hmm this question I don't understand, but that might be because I'm also unsure what 'handshape paradigm' means. If you want my viewpoint on this, could you give me some more context (like a screenshot?). Thanks!
You were the original requester of Handshape Paradigm on behalf of Julie for ASL. (#764) Then @ocrasborn wanted it for NGT Signbank as well.
@ocrasborn @Woseseltops is this relation symmetrical?
This was added in #764.
For CSV import it is necessary to know if this is symmetrical.
It looks like the functions that work on relations assume it is symmetrical. (Reverse relations.)
