(1) Approach Dr Sebastian Vollmer, Director of Data Study Groups, Turing Institute & Associate Professor, University of Warwick

(2) Approach Professor Nello Cristianini, Professor of Artificial Intelligence at the Intelligence Systems Laboratory, University of Bristol, with whom we are keen to explore possibilities, given our collaborator social historian Dr Mark Hailwood being a lecturer at Bristol]

Contact @leifuss to ask whether there are University of Exeter pattern recognition/machine learning experts who may be interested in participating in the @signsofliteracy community (and Amsterdam workshop)

Contact @BarbaraMcG and @Giovanni1085 to ask whether there are specific young researchers associated with the Alan Turing Institute they believe may be interested in pattern recognition/machine learning applied to pixel based images of markes, initials and signatures - Discuss with them at or after the Friday, April 27th scoping session at the Turing institute

Hi Colin,

Might want to contact Daniel (PhD student) and ask him for further ideas: https://warwick.ac.uk/fac/sci/statistics/staff/research_students/wilsonnunn/

Best,

Giovanni
