Enchant Bug with Silent Gear #387

Expected Behavior

I used a disenchanter cyclic on an enchanted sword, it had tons of enchants but I wanted to take out smite 5 for sharpness. However, When I try to enchant the sword with any book it costs wayy too much (65 levels).

Actual Behavior

I try to join my sword with an enchanted book and it costs an insanely expensive amount of EXP. I tried swapping out the parts of the sword and it won't work. The solution i found was making an entirely new tool so the enchantment resets. It isn't all the problematic but I wanted to report it.

Steps to Reproduce the Problem

  1. Have an enchanted silent gear sword
  2. Disenchant it somehow
  3. EXP is locked as if it had all the other enchantments

report to cyclic too, could be a cross compatibility error

An sl_nbt item export of the affected sword might also help
