Try doing this and see if it changes anything (file explorer is the app you use to look through files): "In File Explorer under View, in the Show/hide group, select the File name extensions check box"

I actually found a different solution that might help for others

IronicIonic commented 1 year ago

So my file downloaded as a compressed file, along with some of the mods i got, So i had an app that decompressed them and ran my launcher by administration, and BAM, it works just fine

IronicIonic commented 1 year ago

The App is called "Unarchive One" and add all the compressed files in it, and it should work fine after that

Aleksimaier2 commented 1 year ago

Oh yeah I didnt notice the button that said extract now... on windows 10 its usually glowing and a bit more obvious and im usually used to windows 10.. anyway congrats on fixing it! (also never heard of unarchive one before I always just used winrar and 7zip lol :P)

Try doing this and see if it changes anything (file explorer is the app you use to look through files): "In File Explorer under View, in the Show/hide group, select the File name extensions check box"

^ Correct
