Visual Scripting support #514

Hey Xenko devs,

Would it be possible to get a node based Visual Scripting solution in Xenko?

I ask this as an lone 3D Artist using Unreal Engine 4 I have been super productive using its blueprint system. I would recommend looking into Google Breadboard.

I'm not a Xenko dev, but judged by what I experienced with Xenko over the curse of ~14 days. Xenko devs do have a lot of other things to do right now.

I think once there is an asset store. Some third party may implement visual scripting. However, why would you want to move from UE4 to Xenko anyways?

Hello @HeadClot, thank you for your feedback. With the work has recently be done on the script editor and the graphics compositor (not released yet), we actually put in place good basis for Visual Scripting and hope to be able to release the feature second half of 2017.

@HeadClot @xenux Which visual scripting are we even talking about. Game logic, shaders, particles? Because a node system for shaders would be indeed very useful.
