Here's the new PR for the manual poser, with all commits squashed.

One extra change crept in - shouldn't have touched server.py, at least not yet. I'll revert that manually...

Ok, this is the final changeset for the manual poser for now.

(Feel free to squash these two commits on your end - the second one just fixes a small mistake in the first.)
