PSX Not playing Audio CDs #350

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open an M3U with a PSX game and an Audio CD (is that order).
2. Select Eject on Virtual Pad.
3. Insert the Audio CD.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
It appears that EmuHawk is not loading the Audio CD or CDs.

I see this as well.

Using Vib Ribbon an example. It will check, but will not detect the audio cd as
a valid cd.

If I reset psx and remove disc before bios anim finishes I can access the Audio
cd player. Re insert the vib ribbon disc and its audio tracks will appear.
Eject the disc and insert the audio cd and it will not refresh the track list.
If I try to play a track it will be from the vib ribbon disc which is no longer
inserted (audio cd selected in cd list).

I noticed that too. It was weird.

Try a Sega CD game in PSX as most of them used Redbook Audio (Audio Tracks).

I added Jaguar xj220 sega cd to the vib ribbon m3u. Eject vib ribbon at bios
screen, insert jagxj220 and it continues to load vib ribbon. The disc swap
looked like it worked but ...didn't.

I've been using Star Wars Rebel Assault II for testing disc swap while playing
/ recording. The disc change does appear to be working ok in that instance and
the swap works when playing back the movie.

Uhhh it is flatly impossible for the wrong disc to get read altogether. Try it
again on a more recent build.

It's conceivable that audio discs are failing to get recognized sometimes...
this is gonna be rough until I can rewrite the cue loading
