The landscape should be different after winning X rounds.

Currently the river generates at the beginning of the game, I wonder how to deal with people's already set tower layouts if the river moves.

LOL, just destroy them! 😁

That's something the game must do after few rounds, because otherwise the level will become a mess of towers and player (most probably) won't be able to build anything new

I think that's a good idea, every 10 rounds a refresh otherwise it gets boring.

Another idea is that the river gets wider as you progress so it gets more difficult and washes away some towers, then after 10 rounds you just have to start over.

Haha that's a cool one. But it should be balanced because if the game will be hardcore I won't play it. 😛

That's always a challenge for the design: you want a game that is both easy enough to enjoy without devoting your life to as well as deep enough to really get serious about. That's the art of doing good game design.
