Avast! Web Shield blocks comet connections

> What steps will reproduce the problem?

1. Install a web app using GWT-Comet onto an Internet host (not LAN)
2. Check web app works!
3. Install Avast! Antivirus on Windows 7 (free, http://www.avast.com/)
4. Confirm comet channel now fails to connect.
5. Disable Avast! Web Shield component
6. Confirm web app works again.

> What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I would expect comet to work through any/all virus scanners

> What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

gwt 2.1.0, gwt-comet 1.1.6
Windows 7, Avast! Free 5.0.677
