Compatibility problem with GWT-2.2.0

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Update Google Plugin for Eclipse at version 2.2.0
2. Execute a GWT Compilation

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected: Correct compilation
Instead: Compilation error. Here the error message:

gwt-comet 1.2.1
smartgwt 2.4
windows 7 professional

From what I understand of the problem, it will go away once you recompile from 
source. The bytecode is incompatible.

No, it will not. Current java code of gwt-comet is not compatible with GWT-2.2.

It seems to work for me after making the changes in attached patch.  The patch 
is against r159 (1.2.1).  Hope it helps.

Hello

How do I get this patch?  I just checked out from 
http://gwt-comet.googlecode.com/svn/trunk and don't see any updates since 
1/4/11.
Also I downloaded the latest 1.2.1 jar and still seeing the issue.

The patch is attached in the Comment 3. Checkout the sources from the trunk, 
apply the patch and compile it.
