Colored Windows Not Affecting Controls Menu or Auto Battle Icon #2

Open whickus70 opened 2 years ago

whickus70 commented 2 years ago

I've discovered that this colored windows mod does not seem to affect the Controls menu or the Auto Battle icon. These UI elements remain at the default bright blue color even if all lines of code in the silvris.ffpr.colored_windows.cfg file are updated to a completely different color. Please see images for example.

Edit - I've also discovered that the Fat Chocobo menu in FFIV is also not affected by this mod. Colored Windows Not Working Colored Windows Working Colored Windows Not Working - FFIV

Gonna just use this issue to also list failing screens in FF6.

Thanks for looking into this issue! I'd really love to be able to use this mod as a comprehensive one-stop shop for customized UI colors.

The game loading screen in FF6 is also not affected.

The loading screen works fine for me in all six Pixel Remaster games. I suspect your issue is a mod/file conflict or bad installation. I'd recommend removing all mods and then installing only the Colored Windows mod (along with its dependencies, of course). Then see if your issue persists.

If you're referring to the blue boxes on quick save, those aren't targeted by ColoredWindows (they aren't actual textures last I checked). Otherwise, make sure you have most recent release as older releases have conflicts with Memoria.
