Although it is in the planned enhancement, it seems like a very major issue as duplicate people can lead to many issues

Team's Response

As mentioned in planned enhancements, this check of duplicate persons will be implemented in the future. Furthermore, we mentioned in UG that there will be no check for duplicate persons as we have unique IDs assigned to each person.
