they said.

We found that your app includes URLs which do not properly navigate to the intended destination, which is not in compliance with the App Store Review Guidelines.

Specifically, the Privacy URL does not resolve to the Privacy Page.

It would be appropriate to ensure all URLs properly resolve to the appropriate destinations before resubmitting your binary.

Lastly, we found that your app has an associated free subscription, however, it does not include a mechanism for the user to sign up for the free subscription.

It is required to revise the app to include the mechanism to allow user to sign up for the free subscription.

For more information, please see Newsstand for Developers for information on Newsstand Kit.For discrete code-level questions, you may wish to consult with Apple Developer Technical Support.

what does it means?

I just got rejected for the exact same reason (amongst others)

To resolve the Privacy Policy/URL's not navigating issue, create a web page with your privacy policy and provide this as your Privacy Policy url.

You can copy mine if you want: -

Does this URL just go in the form on iTunesConnect for the InAppPurchase? Or is it meant to be referenced from the app's plist somehow? Or mebbe a visible link in the content?

I just got rejected for similar reasons, plus apparently I'm storing something somewhere somehow, not sure what's going on there. Does that mean we have to have a button that says subscribe? or something? or is the launching of the app asking for the push notification thing fine? I'm fairly confused about subscriptions tbh.

Yep, the Privacy Policy URL goes in the app details on iTunes Connect (in the 'Metadata and Uploads' section)
