User roles aren't displayed correctly in account menu #3758

On Stellarator:

Log in as an instructor, and the role displayed under your name is "Student."

Log in as a student, and the role displayed under your name is "Independent."

"Independent" is confusing, we should replace with "student/instructor". We need to spec out what roles should be displayed is what scenarios.

We should look to canvas for inspiration on how this should work
