Use `foo()` for functions? #2

When objects and functions are all rendered in monospace font it can be difficult keeping track of what is what. I find it handy to indicate to the reader that something is a function by sticking parentheses on the end of the marked-up function name. E.g. I would use get_download() instead of get_download in the text.

Great idea. I'll get on it when I start the revisions. Thanks Gavin for going through this!

I think we've gotten all of these now, so I'll close this one out.
