Customizing #249

I would love to know if there's any way to change the background color of the menudrawer for example to black #000000... or blue .. if there is a way which there is obviously please provide me with an example because i cant grasp it otherwise.. this one may be a duplicate i dont know but i need help... Thanks Simon :D
