Part of image lost after removing EXIF #2668

Sometimes, after tapping the 'remove exif' for a photo, the app freezes. The only way to continue is to close the app and open it again. The previously selected photo's thumbnail looks fine in the gallery view but after tapping it, the photo shows a black color covering the image that implies some data was lost

what is lost there? The image is missing at the top view too

I tried to replicate it again, but this issue doesn't seem to show up. This did sometimes happen in the past since this engine photo was the 3rd photo that was affected while looking at simple-gallery's recycle bin on my phone. The earliest affected photo was on 10/24/22, so it was still on version 6.25.4.
