ye roughly. Basically if there is a folder A containing folders B and C which both contain images, only A would be shown on the main screen. After opening it B and C would be shown, just at opening one of them the actual images. It will be optional for sure, but not implemented anytime soon anyway.
Any update on this issue?
I know you've been terribly busy with the Simple Gallery Tibbi and I'm very thankful for your work. :slightly_smiling_face: So I certainly don't want to sound pushy. But I thought that perhaps now the project's status is so that this feature can be more easily implemented than a year ago.
Have a nice weekend!
nothing new, still isnt on the roadmap for the near future.
I just discovered this app and love it so far. It's going to allow me to switch away from QuickPic, which I should have done long ago. I came here to request a few features, and this is a big one for me, so just wanted to give my +1 to it, as well as offer a few keywords to help others find it: hierarchy, hierarchical, structure, flat, explorer. If/when this is added, I think there should be a button on the toolbar that opens a drop-down to switch it on and off and to select views (Folder view, All folders content, and another one I plan to request in a separate issue). Thank you for making this and for keeping the permissions minimal.
Edit: Forgot to mention that ideally it should allow you to specify which folders to apply this to (or exclude folders), so it could be set to show all subfolders for one folder and not for another.
grouping direct subfolders will be implemented as a checkbox at the "Change view type" dialog. The initial implementation wont be customizable, Ill try figuring out some reasonable pattern.
an initial version will be added in 6.1.0 released soon
Do you mean that subfolders are only displayed when entering the upper folder instead of displayed in the first screen? If yes: Please make it optional :)
