what is the difference?
what is the difference?
modern (monotonic) greek uses diacritics to show how a word is pronounced. polytonic greek has 5 diacritics, and monotonic greek has only 2. iirc in keyboards, the monotonic system is called "Greek" and the polytonic system is called "Greek Extended" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greek_diacritics polytonic system is rarely used nowadays, so it wouldnt be much of a problem not to be added
Thanks for adding Greek in general!
the tonos key is missing. next to λ there should be this ΄ that changes all vowels to have a tonos above them α ε ι η υ ο ω ά έ ί ή ύ ό ώ when you hold a key that has a vowel, the tonos appears, but some letters sometimes have to use the diaeresis ϊ ϋ and sometimes the tonos along with diaeresis are both used at the same time ΐ ΰ in computer keyboards we have special key combinations (shift + ΄), (altgr + ΄) to type this out, on mobile there isnt anything so just holding for example υ will show up ύ ϋ ΰ.
guillements are also missing; in english, to convey speech "these are used", in greek «these are used»
guillements added to popup of double quote (") and less-than (<) / greater-than (>) symbols in #124
if polytonic greek could also be added along with modern greek it would be rlly cool 👍
