T-Mobile, for instance, imposes a message limit of 1MB and an image limit 3000 pixels max in either direction. (T-Mobile discards non-compliant messages without notice.) Would be convenient to enter limits into Settings and for SMS Messenger to resize on the fly rather than having to resize each image manually ahead of time.
