Tapping on notification brought up previous conversation #219

Hi, I hardly ever send or receive SMSes, so I can't easily recreate this, but I hae experienced the following:

1, Received an SMS from person A 2, Replied to the SMS inline in the notification 3, Clicked on the same notification to view the conversation 4, Exited the app (I can't remember whether I pressed Home, or task switched, or what) and used my phone for other things 5, An hour or so later, received an SMS from person B 6, Clicked on the notification to read the message

At this point, Simple SMS Messenger opened, but instead of showing me the new message from person B, instead showed me the conversation view from person A. I had to click Back then click on person B's conversation to see the new message.

Version 5.10.2 from F-Droid Android 9.0

I guess it happened after you closed the app with Home button, basically just pausing it

cannot reproduce it anymore, retry with 5.11.2

Hi, I've just had this happen again, with version 5.15.0.

In this case, the sequence was a simpler:

  1. Received a text from A, clicked on the notification to read the message
  2. Pressed home while on the conversation A screen
  3. Received a text from B, clicked on the notification to read the message
  4. The app showed me conversation A, not conversation B as expected
