turn off mms option #243

Some people don't want the system or kernel to have access to internet which is required for mms, so it would be nice to turn off mms completely and only have sms messages.

you dont need internet for it, our app doesnt have internet access either. It is handled through the carrier.

But if you don't want mms and the carrier network access it would be nice to turn off and just use sms

might be added, but it is already reported at #221

That's automatic download of mms, I'm talking disable both incoming and outgoing and using sms only

If you can stop mms download why not stop mms upload as well?

because downloading cannot be stopped otherwise, but you can prevent sending by... not sending it

Except most massagers auto switch from sms to mms for longer messages rather then send two sms without notifying the user
