What specifically is "not so good" about Simplero's email system, to you?
I'm somewhat familiar with the differences overall, but wanted to know what specifically you're missing.
There are several things that I find really good in MailChimp:
Their WYSIWYG editor for creation of mails
Their intergration into other systems which makes it the perfect center platform for everything regarding emails. Simplero is not the only system that many companies work with, they also use CRM systems, CMS systems like WordPress (28% of the worlds websites is created in WordPress - you can't compete with that) and many others.
It is really easy to find help for MailChimp - both in video format but also in physical hands who can maintain different campaigns.
The automation flows in MailChimp is fairly easy to understand and easy to explain to others.
Their API makes it easy to implement your own different connection to MailChimp - that could be an MobileAPP or other stuff.
What you are good at is creating a teaching platform - I would love if the focus was even more on the teaching platform. MailChimp is world champion in cheap mail systems, WordPress in the CMS part - you could be the same in the teaching part.
Being a developer myself for 17 years, I have learned to understand that it is better to be very good a few things and integrate to other systems when you are out of your niche. You could do the same and make Simplero the perfect platform for teaching - there are some bad ass competitors out there but it is possible - because you do pretty well on the teaching part of your system.
Hi
I know that you have your own email platform running in Simplero, but unfortunately, I don't think it is as good as MailChimp, that might just be me. Anyway, I would love if the integration was deeper into MailChimp.
At the present moment, the only information that Simplero push into MailChimp is the basic information like email and name. I would like to have information on what a person has purchased as well, it could be a merge-field/merge-fields indicating what purchases the person has done. This would help a lot when sending newsletters, then I could send segmented newsletters to the persons who have purchased one product and another newsletter for persons who have purchased another product.
