Admin permissions only for a specific product #310

I produce products in collaboration with other businesses, that is only sub-contracktors and therefor not "visible" to the costumer. We both produce content, support our customers (in my name) and therefore shares the profit.

But i don't want them to se profit/be able to make changes on other than the product that they are involved in. So I would be very useful to be able to give admin acces only to a specific product.

I can can confirm that this feature would be very helpfull for us.

We run an educational center with several educations and individual persons responsible for each education.

It's something that's on our radar, but not something we have scheduled for implementation just yet.

It's one of those annoying things that's just tedious, tedious, tedious. It requires figuring out what kind of permissions framework we need to build, ie. how flexible/complex it needs to be, and then going through every... single... page... in admin and check against those permissions. A pretty daunting undertaking.

That doesn't mean we won't do it. I totally understand the desire and even need for this. But it is something that will take resources away from a lot of other things we could do that would have more impact on people's bottom lines.
