I'm right now moving an old course (before Simplero) to Simplero's ecosystem. this is just a first step to get rid of an (unstable) email platform, and to use Simplero's email instead.
The course documents are distributed by email and Dropbox, but that's irrelevant for this feature request, I just wanted to give a background for the course.
The course participants will get their emails from an Automation, using Templated emails.
This is my idea:
I want to use the Notification emails in the same Automation (above) to give my subcontractors (coaches) information on how far a certain client has come in their ongoing course. This is a handy way of giving them exact information on what to do and when to do it.
For this I intend to use the coach's email address in the Notification email, all good so far.
But, we have many coaches working for us and want to use the same Automation for everyone, just change the email address accordingly. This could be set by using a Custom field value of the client.
I created a Custom text field {{field.coach_email}} and tried to use this in the Email field of the Notification email, but this only accepts a cleartext email address.
It would be great if you can find a (quick) solution for this, because the alternative is a cumbersome (and ugly) workaround: To duplicate the complete Automation (make one for every coach), change all the Notification email adress fields to match the coach in their respective Automation. Finally, sign up participants to different lists (one for every coach) etc depending on which coach they have been assigned.
