What specific tags are you missing?
I included everything I could think of that seemed meaningful or relevant.
Webmaster tools and the structured test tool is complaining about missing tags: brand, image, sku.
Brand - could that be the Simplero Site's name?
SKU - really don't know about that one. Maybe the Simplero-generated number that identifies the product?
The image is already there but as a background-image style, so somehow setting an itemprop="image" tag that identifies it as schema.org markup.
Thanks, Tue, we'll take a look.
Extra info: My Google Search Console is listing errors because it seems to want "offers", "review" or "aggregateRating" information on the products.
Most likely, tags like that would make it into search result listings. The most simple, might be to list the product price as listed on the product catalog overview, in an "offer" tag, including currency code..
Any updates on this? It is still reported by Google Search Console as an issue.
Any updates on if we are getting SEO tags in the Simplero Product Catalog? A fix to this will probably improve SEO for products, for ALL Simplero users. Google keeps giving me reminders about it in the Search Console. The suggestion was labeled "outstanding idea" but have been 10 months in the waiting now....
So essentially, this is a SEO thing:
The Product Overview on a membership site, includes schema.org/Product markup - that enables the addition of rich snippets for search engines.
However, it seems that the implementation has not been taken all the way, some recommended tags are left out.
See Google's test tool for structured data here - it allows for an easy analysis of the markup syntax. https://search.google.com/structured-data/testing-tool#url=shop.onadventure.dk%2Fproducts
Google Webmaster Tools also lists errors/missing tags in the schema.org/Product markup.
Products with good markup will be presented better in search results on Google etc., and getting them added, would instantly benefit all Simplero customers using the product catalog on their sites.
