The lumber harvester in TrollsAndElves is based on the nightelf builder in wc3, where it "enchants" or "binds" to a tree, to soak up the lumber resource without actually harming the forest.

When the lumber harvester right clicks a tree, it will go within melee range of the tree, and bind to it. It can still be selected, and attacked while in the tree, and every X seconds, the player gains Y gold. (there are 8 or 9 tiers of lumber harvester, all with different X and Y values.

When the troll has vision of the tree, he can see the harvesters in the trees, the same way as anyone else.

When the harvester tries to move, it will unbind to the tree, and no-longer collect lumber.

not 100%, it needs to be fine-tuned to actually be melee range and have the multiple tiers
