Resolved by disabling Farsighted Mobs 3.0.0

All I was doing was roaming around and then it kept crashing...

I was unable to reproduce this on 3.0.0, but did encounter the game freezing in the same scenario (#14). It is quite likely that my mod freezing caused another mod to crash the game. Can you check if the issue still occurs on version 3.0.1?

I see. Time to do some further investigating. Already found another bug with the same severity.

I'm still unable to reproduce the crash you're getting, but 3.0.1 was also crashing my game outside of a dev environment. If you could try version 3.0.2? I'll upload it if it works, otherwise it's time for me to try with your exact mod combination.

3.0.2 is also running fine in my own modpacks now, so I don't see any immediate compatibility issues at this point.

Thank you. It seems like the mod is running fine in the overworld, but crashes in the end and in the twilight forest. Interesting. Will do further investigation to see if it also crashes in the end without other mods.

The end seems to be working fine with just Farsighted Mobs, FerriteCore, and ModernFix. I'll check if the same goes for twilight forest.

Twilight Forest also seems to be doing fine on its own. I'll try to narrow it down in your pack.

Disabling Polytone seems to allow Farsighted Mobs to run without any issues, curiously. Polytone should be a client-only mod, while Farsighted Mobs is server-side only. The two should not interfere with one another, and yet... Unfortunately I'm unable to continue debugging this until after the weekend. 3.0.2 will be uploaded, allowing users not using Polytone to utilise the mod without issues.

A quick check later also shows that it's not as simple as that; just Polytone and your resource packs still runs fine alongside Twilight Forest and Farsighted Mobs.

Oh no this is pretty sad. I appreciate you for taking the time to troubleshoot. I’d love to include Farsighted for my debut release for Oct 31 but having to disable Polytone is a big sacrifice due to the ‘assorts’ or resource pack ‘packs’ that come bundled with my modpack. I’ll have to drop Farsighted until a fix is ironed out.
