UI when Creating Colonists for new game gets broken sometimes #4

First of all, I want to say, that I really like your mod.

Unfortunately, as of the update to Rimworld 1.1, this sometimes breaks my game. When starting a new game and creating the colonists, Randomize sometimes takes a long amount of time, but eventually, the pawn is generated. There seems to be no rule as of when it will take a substantial amount of time and when not.

Yet, sometimes, instead of creating a new pawn, it completely breaks the UI. The list of pawns is no longer displayed and only the Back button is working. Instead, I get a blank window with selected only showing a b selection-colored rectangle. Everything else (but the Create characters headline and the back button) is a black, empty dialog. I am playing with a great number of mods, so it might well be a mod conflict. Yet, de-activating Faction Blender solved both errors. The same is true, if the option allowing different races for the starting colonists is unchecked.

I am using Windows 10 (64 bit), Rimworld 1.1.2598 (64 bit), Royalty DLC and the Steam Version of Faction Blender Update: 26 Mar @ 5:45am

Okay, I think I tracked it down to a problem with the faction apparelStuffFilter code, and certain materials like synthlyne. And hopefully fixed the freezes.

Does it work any better with the latest version?

Thanks a lot for the fast answer. Just tested with the new update and the problem seems to be fixed now. Randomizing colonists now now works within a few millis again and the broken UI did no longer occur.

I'm getting the broken interface problem he is, likely the same thing considering the yellow message. image

This issue has been popping up here and there whenever I use Faction Blender, my working theory is that it's loading an 'illegal' pawn from a mod, one of those pawn but not a pawns that are used for this and that by mod authors.

This might be fixed with the updates for RimWorld v1.3.
