Tap to extend without fills #114

When I tap to move a transition, how does the timing of that tap affect the beginning of that transition? Should there be an effect, is this a bug?

brennansingular commented 4 years ago

In the video I speak about another issue, but this is how I realized the offsets in transition start location

JulissaDantes commented 4 years ago

when you say you "tap to move a transition" what exactly do you mean? Pressing the pedal doing a long press?

brennansingular commented 4 years ago

Sorry I could have been clearer, I mean tapping quickly for a fill (but the song has no fill loaded so it's just a tap) and this is what moves the transition over.

JulissaDantes commented 4 years ago

In that case, if a song part containing only a trans fill and a main fill is playing and the user press the pedal quickly it should do nothing, it will only call from the trans fill if the user does a long press

brennansingular commented 4 years ago

Well, it does change the transition location, isn't that the purpose?

JulissaDantes commented 4 years ago

I mean the transition won't move anywhere else but stay in the part. or what are you trying to say when you mention "change the transition location"?

brennansingular commented 4 years ago

Tapping for the fill extends the part by another revolution, if the AP part is 8 measures, and you tap for a fill on m5, it should playback another 8 measures at the start of the next measure.

The issue is that this seems to be affecting the starting point of the outro or transition fills, I'll try and replicate, @bacol89 you may wanna look at this.
