When there several drum fills loaded and drum fill manually initiated multiple times, only the 1st drum fills plays. Subsequent presses do not trigger the other drum fills.
The drum fills should play in a row with every pedal press, if the drum fill order is switched to consecutive trigger.
If the order is switched to random, then they should trigger at random.
If some of the fills have AP on and some off, pressing the pedal should trigger them consecutively, regardless of whether they have the AP off or on.
Play a drum fill that comes after whichever drum fill had just played on AP. Example:
Fill 1 (AP on), Fill 2 (AP off), Fill 3 (AP on), Fill 4 (AP off). Pedal is pressed after Fill 1 plays on its own, Fill 2 is triggered, the part is restarted.
if AP never gets a chance to play a drum fill because user triggers them prior to AP, then the fills play consequentially as if there was no AP.
Since he is triggering them manually, every time he presses the pedal, the count is restarted. Once he stops pressing it, the song part will play on AP, which means it will play programmed fills, then continue to the transition.
What should be my indicator that the user wont press the pedal again? Maybe 2 bars without a pedal press?
There shouldn't be a bar limit. I don't think there is a need for one. If AP plays a fill, then that nulls the order of manual fills. Next time user presses the pedal, a fill that comes after the AP fill will be triggered.
