We want to implement a chat in our app. Nevertheless, we don't want to build all the functionality from the groun up.

Please, make some research about

Send and receive messages
Smileys
Send and receive files (how big?)

Which already made component in Vue we could use to have the chat service. Please, try that the component have these three features:
Customizable
Backend agnostic (but nothing is wrong if it is firebase-dependant) Talk with @omiras when you have your candidates

Then:

Choose one of them, and implement a chat app using firebase as a backend. When ready, we'll try to integrate this in Tender.
