As far as I know, there isn't any software out there for dealing with (and generating) tabs for microtonally fretted instruments.
Although maybe out of the scope of the current feature set of xen-fret, perhaps this might be something we could support in the future.
Another neat idea would be playback (an animation) generated either from tabs, or some other sort of notation system (e.x. one of the DSLs being worked on in xen-toolbox).
It would probably be fairly easy to generate guitar tabs with the diagrams package, so to add this feature we wouldn't have to figure out how to integrate with something like lilypond.
