Nested grid in DGrid #931

Hi, I'd like to know if there is any plan of a nested grid, i.e Detail On Demand, where I can open a row for more details inside some widget.

But there is no base for opening an editor as a Details row. So I'll have to manipulate the editor to look like a new row etc... Sounds like a headache isnt it?

I don't know that I'd necessarily suggest using the editor plugin directly, but you can employ a similar technique to what it does for creating and tracking widgets inside cells, which is alluded to in the Working with Widgets wiki page.

We don't currently have plans for a dedicated extension explicitly facilitating this, but I would at least like to experiment with ways to facilitate widgets/grids inside of rows/cells a bit more naturally. I could definitely fathom having a tutorial on the subject.
