I am attempting to enable a custom Sitecore role to run the "Import" task for the Brightcove media framework, but I'm running into an issue where my test user in that role sees the "Import" job run for over 30 minutes and then time out without any indication that any media items were touched or updated. By contrast, the CMS admin account can run the task and have it complete in 2-3 minutes, with entries in the Sitecore logs to indicate content updates to Brightcove media items.
Is there an expectation that you must be an administrator to run the "Import" task? Is there a specific set of permissions or access that can be granted to a Sitecore role to allow non-administrators to run the task?
