Fixed width column importer #85

Gridworks should allow the graphical manipulation of column widths when 
manipulating fixed-width column data.

Gridworks already deals with fixed width data by importing it as one column, 
and allowing you to use a cell transform to split using substring.  This could 
be made more user-friendly.

This would probably be an extension which adds an additional interface tab on 
the index page.  The data is imported as one column and sent to an additional 
page prior to being sent to project.  This additional page provides some UI 
sliders which can be clicked and dragged to adjust column widths. Or that's the 
idea; implementation may vary.

Alterations to the UI are still required to fully address this task.

I used the current ability in r1836 to do this and it was relatively easy once 
I realized that Smultron tells you the length of a selection at the bottom of 
the window (assuming you have it enabled in Preferences > Appearance).

1. uncheck "Split into columns" before Creating Project
2. Edit Column > Split into several columns... > by field lengths

That being said, wysiwyg would be nice.
